F.R.E.N.C.H.
(Finding Romance Eagerly in a Nonchalant Chilled-out Habitat)

People tell me “No chance”
For my quest in romance
I need someone that I can snuggle up to
Talk with me as well as cuddle up to
Someone who listens to my thoughts
And soothes my throat from being hoarse
This woman has gotta be thoroughbred like a horse
She has to be the BEST of all my partners
And to have NO bone of being heartless
I want to have a picture perfect love story like an artist
Not to be cut up like pencil sharpeners
Or to have my heart stabbed with a cutlass
I want this woman to love me regardless
And I will love her and hold her up like a harness
As we’re making love on our living room carpets
In a sensual darkness
I want this romance
To be better than watching bullshit programmes
With kids and no fam
Eyeing up girls with no glam
Looking whiter than a snowman
Especially after they’ve snorted some snow man!
I’m going over tree-tops and hills
Spinning around like windmills
Looking for romance brings chills
Down my spine which sometimes kills
I wonder if true romance does brings thrills
To the point that a kiss becomes a standstill
Like a lone dove
Just flying above
Searching for love
A romantic love that isn’t rough
I don’t mean to be nasty like haggis
But I do have a few chilled-out habits
I love cuddling white rabbits
And to feed them cabbage
As well as carrots
I’m attracted to fine wine like magnets
Always dreaming of a world without malice
Living in a creative madness
As I’m sipping my bottle of Magner’s
Thinking about a fine actress
Like most single people— I’m yearning
To have the love that shines like sterling
I don’t want to keep on turning
My head to the point of no returning
I will continue to keep on searching
For a love that is passionate and burning
Like butter— I’ll be forever churning
For the love that minuses the hurting
I want a romance with a spiritual enchantment
A love that needs no boosts like an enhancement
Nor does it need the trappings of an entrapment
As we have dinner alongside the Embankment
I am just searching for that special connection
With a special woman who loves my complexion
To give me memories in more than a collection
As well as the odd temperature like a convection
She needs to keep me sweet like a confection
I will give this woman my love and protection
